Before you purchase the plugin:

• Find the last 6 digits of your Vectorworks serial number. You can check this on the Vectorworks Customer Portal: https://customers.vectorworks.net/licenses
• Copy the last 6 digits of your license to your clipboard.
• Check which Vectorworks year version you use.

During checkout:

• Enter the last 6 digits of your Vectorworks serial number (copy/paste recommended).
• Select the Vectorworks year version you want to use the plugin with.
• Enter your email address.

Product already installed through Vectorworks Partner Products:

• You do not need to install the product again. Save the attached .vxkey license file from your purchase email.
• Start Vectorworks and run the product.
• When the license dialog reports that no license file was found, click Activate License.
• Select the corresponding .vxkey file. Vectorworks will install the license file for you.

Product not yet installed:

• Download STB-VW Tools.vwlibrary using the link in your purchase email.
• Start Vectorworks and go to Tools → Plug-in Manager.
• Open Third-party Plug-ins, click Install, and select the downloaded .vwlibrary file.
• Restart Vectorworks. The package contains both the product and your license.

Yes. Your plugin license is directly linked to the last 6 digits of your Vectorworks Serial Number.

This means you can install and use the plugin on any machine where that specific Vectorworks license is active. (Typically, Vectorworks allows installation on two machines, such as a primary desktop and a secondary laptop).

No. Each paid STB-VW plugin is a one-time purchase. When you buy a plugin for a specific Vectorworks year version, you can continue using it with that version indefinitely.

There is a 12-month grace period. If you hold a 2026 license that is still within its grace period, you must install the specific 2027 installation package. Go to the Download Request page, request Vectorworks 2027 using the same seat ID you used for your 2026 license, and we will email the package to you. After the 12-month period, you must upgrade the plugin to match the new Vectorworks release year.

Operating-system support can differ by plugin. Check the product page for the supported platforms. An active Vectorworks installation is required.

As stated in the Terms & Conditions during checkout, we do not offer refunds once the digital product has been made available for download. However, if you are experiencing technical issues preventing installation, please contact support below so we can resolve it.

When you purchased the plugin, you received a secure Dropbox link for the installer files. For security, that link expires after 7 days.

If you have lost access to your files, please click the button to visit our Download Request page. You will need to provide the exact details used during your original purchase:

• Email Address
• The last 6 digits of your Vectorworks Serial Number.

• Vectorworks version year
